The excitement is rising at Hastings' Grand Central Hotel

We are delighted to be a partner to our client Hastings Hotels on their newest and most exciting venture to date, the Grand Central Hotel in Belfast's city centre.

Revised planning permission was granted earlier this month for an additional 104 bedrooms. This means the hotel will be the largest in Northern Ireland with the total number of rooms numbering 304, and with the creation of over 150 jobs.

Sir William Hastings, Chairman of Hastings Hotels explained,

“The Grand Central Hotel will be more than a hotel when it opens in mid 2018. It is a legend reborn and to celebrate this, we have created a building wrap, which will be changed at regular intervals before the hotel opens. It will help tell the story of the hotel as it is being built and pay tribute to some of the local companies we are working with who are each playing key roles in helping Hastings Hotels create this major development," Sir William added.

AV Browne is lucky enough to be counted amongst this list of trusted local suppliers to Hastings Hotels. Having worked with them for well over a decade on all of their hotels, we have so far been responsible for creating the brand for the Grand Central Hotel, and designed the just-unveiled on-site building wrap, seen below.

We're looking forward to working with Hastings and their other partners over the incoming year, to make the Grand Central a source of pride for everyone in Northern Ireland.
